Freedom of Choice and the Consequences of Liberty

7 03 2011

We all stand on the principles, as Americans, that we are a free people and that we have our liberties; freedom of choice and liberty of will.  These are rights granted to us by our constitution.  We claim them as unalienable rights, granted to us by divine providence through the laws of Nature, Virtue and common Morality.  These are the principles of the Anglo Saxon pioneers who founded this land and established our first colonies and these are the principles our founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, John Adams and George Washington followed after in drafting the timeless and inspired documents of freedom and independence that we stand on to claim these freedoms from oppressive government rule locally and around the world.

When these freedoms are encroached upon by unrighteous governmental dominion we have the responsibility as citizens of this great republic to speak our minds and make our voices heard in the halls of education, administration and before the judges who stand in place to enforce our laws and interpret our constitutional rights and freedoms.  Our administrators and judges are not in place to exercise dominion over us or to enforce laws upon us without merit or justification.  And when we find ourselves being subjected to restrictions by our government officials based on the laws that they have enacted for the gain of power and control over the freedoms of the commonwealth of the people, we have a responsibility to be informed, to understand our laws, to understand our constitutional rights and to stand up and be heard so we as brothers and sisters do not fall to the tyranny of government oppression.

I find it troubling that too many people in this day and age complain about the ills of society, about what they see as not fair or what they claim as unconstitutional, or what new laws they claim should be enacted by congress and interpreted by the courts.  These are mostly based on precedents set by previous judgments by higher courts and powerful lawyers, bending our freedoms to the wills of lobbyists and powerful special interest groups who do not serve the interests of the commonwealth and only exist to increase their own wealth and fill their pockets by greed and by ruling industry and corporations, by raising taxes, by increasing costs and by controlling the supply of goods and services to the people.

I find it troubling that too many people, when they feel oppressed in any way look to the government for solutions to their societal struggles rather than looking within themselves for answers, to stand up in the face of tyranny and choose liberty and freedom of oppressive rule and excessive restriction to natural resources, jobs and the blessings of prosperity divinely granted over time as we have grown and prospered as a nation and throughout the world.

I find it troubling that too many people seek government rule as a means to an end of social problems when these problems have been created as a result of the people themselves exercising irresponsibly the constitutional rights granted them in our founding documents.

I find it troubling that rather than with reason and the acceptance of personal responsibility, too many people point their fingers in accusation against others and find fault in the actions of others rather than looking inward for solutions to the things that trouble them.

We are not responsible for the actions of our fellow citizens, but we are responsible for the actions of ourselves and we are responsible as citizens of this free republic to hold our fellow citizens accountable for the abuse of their freedoms and their irresponsible and selfish behavior when taking advantage of unnecessary government hand outs and misguided solutions to societal ills and social problems.

We are responsible to defend the freedoms and rights we are granted in the constitutions of our own states, our community charters, the rules enacted by our local administrative bodies and the freedoms granted by the constitution and bill of rights of this nation.

We are responsible to be familiar with the words of our constitutions; our state and national constitutions, our bills of rights, the laws enacted by our legislative bodies, the powers that our elected officials are exercising over us and the rules of the judges and the precedents set by them by their interpretation of the arguments of lawyers which in many cases are presented only to justify the poor decisions of their wealthy clients and to line their pockets with the money these greedy individual can afford to pay them.  To get away with their unethical acts by circumventing the rule of law based on precedents established by the twisting of words and misinterpretation of our freedoms and liberties stated in our founding documents.

Changes in our constitutional freedoms come about by the actions of the people and the special interests of those who have power given them by their status in society because of their wealth.  For no other reason than that they have the ability to reward those who will hear them because they can most quickly satisfy the greed of the bureaucrats and line their pockets with filthy lucre rather than provide and enforce our already established laws and defend our freedoms and liberties as a great commonwealth of a virtuous and moral people.

It is time for us to stand up and be informed.  It is time for us to stand up and be educated about the things that are happening in the halls of congress and the  legislative powers that we have elected, who are now enforcing greater laws, taxes and oppression on our heads in the name of correcting problems in a private society brought on by the greed of special interest groups such as the pharmaceutical companies, medical industry and insurance conglomerates.

It is time for us to stand up and solve these problems with private industry, with technology, with the bright minds of our educated youth and the coming together of people who have vision for our future and the survival of this great nation.  To never let the oppressive rule of government bureaucracies encumber our ability to thrive and progress as a nation, as a people, as families and as individuals in our pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.

It is time for us to come together and stand in defense of our constitution, to cast our votes responsibly and to elect individuals who have a correct understanding of morality, ethical standards and virtuous character.  To elect individuals who have their eyes and minds set on a course of healing, of progress and of constructive management of resources and who will enforce our laws as they have been established without unnecessarily enacting greater laws as some disingenuous solution to misunderstood or misinterpreted laws already passed or because of the uninformed and ignorant complaints of lazy people; to satisfy their own desires to retain the power of their offices and their status as government officials.

It is time for us to elect officials who will stand up for our freedoms to progress and to pursue life, liberty and happiness without oppressive taxation without representation, who will not encumber our progress with governmental bureaucracies established by the lust for power and for the creation of comfortable positions of status over our communities and our society.

It is time for us as a people to remind our officials that they have been elected by a commonwealth to be public servants and that they have not been elected so that they can sit in their positions of status as paid tyrants to enforce unjust restrictions over our freedoms of divinely granted will.

It is time for us to take back our states and take back our nation and take back our freedoms.  It is time for us to take back our communities.  It is time for us to take back our families from educators who grant themselves authority over our children by the mandates of the unions and the rhetoric and agendas of special interest groups who wish to control the minds of our youth to meet their ends.  To satisfy their greed and their lust for control because of their want to excuse themselves from ethical and moral behavior based on the tenets of virtue and moral character as written in our founding documents and stated by our founding fathers.

It is time for us to remind our educators and the authorities of education that we are the parents of these children and that we have given them the opportunity to educate our children and to teach them reading, writing, arithmetic, social studies, history, art, music, athletics, debate and language arts and that we pay them by our taxes and that it is our right to determine the discipline and exercise of moral authority over our children and over our families.  It is our responsibility as parents to teach our children correct principles of morality, character and virtue within the walls of our homes and to never expect our educators to be the proponents of these divine principles.

We must demand that our educators refrain from imposing their personal views of moral conduct and passive restriction on the freedoms, wills and minds of our bright and noble children and stop destroying their wills to create and express and grow into the amazing individuals who are the future generations of leadership and who will guide this country on into the future. Our children should be taught to be standards of liberty and freedom throughout the world, to spread democracy to nations around the world.

It is time!

Sources

5 03 2011

During all the controversy I’ve created among my circle of friends and family with my thoughts and opinions I’ve come to find that they want sources for my insights.  I have failed to provide the sources of my research, therefore I am being accused of lying and making things up.

In the future I will start to cite my sources but for now I’ll say that all of what I have gathered has come from the study of a combination of sources.  Many of which will go against the  grain of many peoples comfort but these are my conclusions based on research of the best books I have found in life.  And one of the things I was taught as a child was to find truth from the best books, and I have held on to that as a standard of guidance for my life, to answer the questions I come up against throughout my trials and they have served me well as I now have inner peace and calm and I am in balance with what I believe is divine nature, God.

People in my life accuse me of many things but I have come to this by work, research, experience, living life, making mistakes, making choices, exercising reason and applying these things to my daily life.  These are all the things the people in my life who are accusing me of wrong doing are telling me to do, and I do them, and these are the results.  So why are they pointing fingers at me?  I think the confusion is with them, not with me.  I am fine and I am free.

My primary sources are the cannon of scripture from the LDS church.  The King James version of the bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price, along with many translations of ancient Egyptian writings from the times of the pharaohs.  I also follow after the philosophies of the ancient Roman philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero, coupled with the reason and integrity of our founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, John Adams and George Washington.

Recently I have been privileged to have been enlightened by the teachings of Dr. Bruce Lipton, a microbiologist who has done stem cell research  since 1967 and who has pioneered the new bio-science of epigenetics.

Thanks for following along.  Comments are welcome,  please check your anger at the door.  This is discussion of important matters that pertain to life.  Humor is welcome always!

Stop throwing rocks!

4 02 2011

I’m just a dumb American sitting in my dumb lazy chair clicking through the TV channels and judging the rest of the world’s affairs, raising my blood pressure, working on a heart attack and doing my best to trigger the cancer my genes are supposed to kill me with, stuffing myself with GMO food, helping to evolve my progeny into the destruction of this lovely mother planet of ours. What do I know, right? I’m the problem! I’m the Zionist fool who justifies the rightful owners of this world to rise up in rebellion against our progress and fanciful dreams of comfort and lavish living!

Nonsense I say! And George Soros, you need to shut the hell up. Open society, schmopen schmesiety!

I couldn’t NOT say something here about what’s going on in Egypt after reading Soros’s column in the Washington Post, blaming Israel again for the unrest in the Middle East. That’s like saying the uprising in the inner cities of America in the seventies and eighties was a result of white authoritarian government policy designing and pumping crack cocaine into the fabric to keep them in their place in hopes that some genocidal civll war within that community would rid us of the issue altogether. Yeah, people actually believe that stuff!

Regardless of all the atrocities perpetuated by either side of the Israel/Palestine conflict, the reality here is that Muslim or Islamist ideology, the factions, the movements of ideology against Zionism and toward Muslim rule have got to be put in check. There is no place for it in this world.

Whether you agree with Zionism or think it’s a bunch of kooky mythology or whatever you believe Zionism means, don’t listen to the Muslim Brotherhood, and certainly don’t listen to the Islamist radicals and what they would tell you it means. They have a convoluted perception of EVERYTHING that goes on in this world. It astounds me that anyone would give sympathy to their cause (there is a difference between empathy and sympathy). When people sympathize with them, it feeds them to rise up and destroy what peace is already hanging by a thread. They are nothing more than a powder keg of malcontentious hatemongers looking for a reason to destroy any peaceful progress this world makes. They lack the ability to progress or prosper; to grow, to mend, to heal, to love, to nurture. All they know is destruction, anger, war, hatred and conflict. They want nothing more than to dominate those around them. They want to dominate women, children, any free thinking or creative energy that is produced anywhere; they create reasons to oppose it. And they don’t speak in reason, they speak in rhetoric. Their leaders will not answer questions, they will not address issues, they will only point fingers, spotlight anything they can find to be a seed of conflict and make it their cause.

And the worst part about this is that bleeding hearts around the world, as well intentioned as they are, fall for this rhetoric as easily as a moth flies into the flame of a candle and is burned to a crisp. Why? Because the foundation the bleeding hearts of this world have supported themselves on has always been from the causes of victims. And who are the biggest victims in this world? The people who cry the loudest. They blame everything that is happening around them and take no responsibility for what is happening within them. Because we are all responsible for what we create and it is up to us to take control and make things right if we stand in opposition of our environment.  That’s what living is all about! Fighting battles out of anger and revenge are not solutions. Fighting battles to stop a greater destruction than the one you are creating by getting into battle can be justified. But these malcontents don’t look for solutions, they look to destroy and create havoc around them because they know nothing else. They create their world of what they know, of what they believe, of what they feel. It is their reality and they believe it so strongly and their influence is felt by all bleeding hearts who, while they are well meaning, are founded on false principles.

There are many cliches and parables to describe what I mean. When you have nothing to stand for, you’ll fall for anything. If you don’t have a solid balance of spirit, mind and body then when things get dicey the lowest common denominator is conflict, and that’s where it ends up most times with groups who are on shaky foundation built on disagreement, victimism and rhetoric.

A man who builds his house on a foundation of sand, when the storms and tempests come, he loses his house, and all that he has built up, because the foundation never was solid. The sand is false principles. While well meaning and attractive in appearance, it supports structures while there is no opposition eroding it and it seem to do a fine job supporting everything built on top. But when real issues arise, that foundation cannot support against the eroding waves, stormy weather and earthquakes that concrete, rebar and steel can withstand.

Do I need to continue? This is just peeling back a small corner of the patch that covers the truth of what is happening in this world. You can ‘yeah, but’ all you want. I’m right. If you don’t like it I welcome your retort. That’s what makes America great. We can debate without it eroding into a fight. That’s what progress and education does for a society. Open minds can grow and breathe. Change can happen when people embrace knowledge and understanding instead of standing on false principles that result in discomfort, strife and do nothing more than support you in feeling angry and opposed to something.  But if you do want to debate, please don’t make me repeat myself.  I’ve said a lot in here.  If I have to repeat myself to argue with you then you’re not paying attention.

Stand for what you believe in, nurture it and spread that truth to make the world a better place. If it leads you to argument and conflict with others then you’ve found yourself at a dead end and you need to back up and find out where you got off course.

Get out!

5 01 2011

This is like watching a hostage taker relinquish their weapon after a long and grueling stand-off.  That’s not to say it’s being turned over to trustworthy hands, but at least it’s out of the hands of the criminally insane.

Don’t kick the armed robber!

8 05 2010

I was looking at drudgereport.com today and I saw the headline. It read:

POLICE FIRESTORM: ‘BEAT THE F****** MEXICAN OUT OF YOU, HOMEY’

Story herehttp://www.kirotv.com/investigations/23490010/detail.html

That sounds pretty bad.

But I read the story and found out that the ‘victim’ here was a recently abducted armed robber.  He just stuck up a bowling alley or something and they took him down.

So the cops are kicking him and giving him sh*t, which I think any dumbass armed robber deserves. But the headline is all about what they were saying when they were kicking him. The story isn’t that they were kicking him, but what they were saying.

All I want to say is, what about the crime that led up to this?

Comments on my comments – The whole AC/end-of-the-world thing continued…

9 08 2008

In response to my post about Obama being the Anti-Christ, I received a comment, posted below, from Doughlasjk Stambler, in the which he called me a racist.  Well, maybe he didn’t call me an outright rasicst, but he said my comments were not ‘Christian-like’ and that they were ‘racially motivated’.

I have posted those comments and my comments to them below, and have also included comments from another reader of my blog.  All of these can be found on my ‘about‘ page.  They were posted there originally for some reason, so I brought them here since they’re interesting food for thought.  They may be silly and sensational, but they’re thought provoking and entertaining nevertheless.

Barack Obama is not the antichrist. I am against Obama for President, but he is not the antichrist. You are misunderstanding Scripture. Your attacks against Obama are not Christian-like and racially motivated.

calmerthanyouare (11:05:15)

Racially motivated? Where do you get that from? That’s convenient for you to say. Perhaps you’re the racist. This has nothing to do with his race, nothing at all. That’s just another reason it’s going to be so convenient and easy for people to overlook the dangers of a Barack Obama presidency. I’m not the racist here, I’m just calling things as I see them unfold. As I said at the end of my comments, and as I have said throughout my political postings, these are opinions of mine based on research and my own conclusions. I am open to the possibility that I could be entirely wrong. But a racist? Give me a break.

Kristi Aldinger (11:03:20)

those are great quotes and your point of view is refreshing.

Do you have an opinion about what Aaron Russo said about his friendship with a Rockefeller and what they (the Rockefellers) would like to do and are currently working on with regard to our financial system and government?

While everyone keeps looking at Barack (which I understand completely), there are people working behind the scenes (in my opinion) doing things subtlely to make the changes that are needed in order to fulfill the prophesies we read about in scripture.

Perhaps Barack is a part of it, maybe not, time will tell that. However, there seems to be so much more going on. Japan with it’s ability/intentions to control the weather, Sweden/France with it’s particle colider, the Rockefellers objective with chip implaints and bank control. I believe it is a combination of many, many things that we should keep an eye on while we go about living.

Just my thoughts, no claim to be right – just curious.

Your thoughts?

calmerthanyouare (12:05:52)

Thanks for chiming in, Kristi.

Aaron Russo is a compelling individual. I listen to what he says and I actually believe in a lot of what he says. I’m really careful when it comes to stepping out and saying what I REALLY believe is going on behind the scenes, but I think he is on the money. The arrogance of the Rockefellers isn’t surprising and I wish there were more men like Aaron Russo out there.

The problem is, that for the most part the American public looks at them like they’re complete kooks so they can’t get any political footing. It’s so easy to just knock them down with the strength of the establishment that they don’t get the attention they deserve.

That is why the prophesies in the Bible are going to come forth and play out and we will be able to watch them unfold and compare world events to things foretold in the scriptures without people panicking and saying, “Whoa, let’s stop this before we go too far!”

People think it’s all a bunch of fairy tales, that there is no way that there could be a underground elitist power controlling the movement of the political playing field around the world. It’s all about money. I believe what he says about Gloria Stienem and Women’s Lib. I’ve watched this stuff go on all my life and while it’s been good on the surface, the key to power for these elitists is to destroy the family and gain control over the minds of people individually.

The only way to do that is to break down the traditional family structure and rebuild those learning and nurturing sources by changing the schools, churches, philosophies, politics, etc. around the world, starting with America. Introducing Socialism into the American way of life is like bringing a Cancer in and having to begin to eat away at our greatest strengths. Soon, these elitists will be able to start coming forward without having to be so cloaked and hidden and people will embrace their ideas because they will be seen as solutions to widespread social ills of American life.

Obama is a pawn, and he is really eating it up. Bush has been a pawn somewhat but I don’t believe he is the evil man that the lefties say he is. Our American presidents have been doing what they’ve done because they believed in those things. They have wanted to see America move forward and keep remain a sovereign nation and a standard of liberty and freedom. I think Obama just wants glory, and that’s why he’s so ripe for the position of AC.

There is one last thing I’d like to add to this post.  It’s a comment to a post made at a blog about the possibility of Obama being the Anti-Christ.  It was referenced yesterday on time.com and cnn.com and there have been a lot of comments and traffic driven there since.  One person had some very interesting things to say and I wanted to add them here as well.

Blogger Ypsilon said…

Thank you from Europe for your good and interesting blog. May I add some of my thoughts on the subject?

I was brought up in Chirstian faith and know the book of Revelation and the varied interpretations of it concerning the Antichrist, though I have been an agnostic for many years. Indeed I did some intense research about the subject a few years ago when I was planning to write a sf short story, though I never thought the Antichrist could be real. I had problems to conclusively invent a person, beloved by all the different denominations on earth.

Obama fits everything.

When all this suddenly came to my mind some night I was really bewilderd and scared. When I heard and saw Obama on TV there was a feeling in my mind: “He reminds me of somebody, but I do not know of whom”. One night I woke up scared and knew: He has reminded me of the Antichrist.

Today I am no more sure whether the Antichrist exists or not. So I did Google search and found your blog, completely shocked that this idea (which I still considered my own craziness) ist shared by so many people.

To those who suggest, Bush being more evil and killing Iraqi children and the like … it is not (in the beginning!) about being evil but about being universally beloved, it is about a political leader who acts and is accepted like a cult leader or even a god. Bush (and other politicians) of course do have their voters and supporters, but they aren’t comparable to religious believers and either they are despised outside their own country or just not of any interest. All of this is different with Obama.

Additionally “Rome” is not mentioned in the Bible, people only thought it should be Rome because of the seven hills. But Honolulu is a city built on seven hills too. And it is in the middle of the Sea.

Obama fits everything so perfectly that I am absolutely sure it is not coincidence. Either he is the Antichrist or he performs to be the Antichrist for some reason.

Have you ever considered the second possibility?

He knows people think he is the Antichrist and he does not do anything to refute this notion, i.e. urging his followers not to hail him like a god. And McCain knows as well and jumps on the game as is proven by this ad. Maybe there is a web of deceit much larger than we can think.

Thank you again for your site.

Why aren’t Iowans blaming the Bush administration?

17 06 2008

It’s a question that could lead to some pretty interesting discussion.  Some people only know how to be victims and some know how to be self sufficient and responsible.  What’s the difference?  Is it the culture?  Geography?  The nature of the disaster?

Talk is cheap – The politics of appeasement

15 05 2008

President Bush finally said something I am proud of. It seems that in his past eight years of public speaking he has done little more than build a legacy of providing material to late night talk show hosts. Well, this week he finally spoke as a true leader of nations to the Knesset concerning the appeasement of terrorists.

“Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: ‘Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.’ We have an obligation to call this what it is –- the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”

This really pissed off Senator Barry O’ and the democrats, who are the absolute pinnacles of talky talk, appeasement and symbolism over substance.

“It is sad that President Bush would use a speech to the Knesset on the 6Oth anniversary of Israel’s independence to launch a false political attack. It is time to turn the page on eight years of policies that have strengthened Iran and failed to secure America or our ally Israel. Instead of tough talk and no action, we need to do what Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan did and use all elements of American power — including tough, principled, and direct diplomacy – to pressure countries like Iran and Syria. George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists, and the President’s extraordinary politicization of foreign policy and the politics of fear do nothing to secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel.”

It really saddens me that the man who expects to be President can actually believe that fighting the greatest threat to America’s liberty has strengthened Iran and failed to secure America and Israel. The democrats are so blinded by their lust for power that they will twist the obvious truth and play partisan politics to the point where they deny that fighting terrorism is the only way to stop it.

Did Jimmy Carter’s peace efforts in the middle east do anything to stop Arafat? No, it did not. Did Bill Clinton’s finger wagging do anything to stop the escalation of terrorism against the USA around the world and within our own borders? No, it did not.  In fact, it emboldened the terrorists and brought us 9/11.

Did President Reagan’s ass whupping on Kadafi do anything to stop him? Hell yes it did. Did Reagan’s perceived development of the Star Wars initiative do anything to topple communism and the Soviet regime? Hell yes it did. Has George Bush’s proactive offenses on terrorist nations and regimes done anything to protect us within the borders of the United States and our embassies across the world? Hell yes it has.

History will tell the truth and the democrat party will fail once again this election year, then they will be sent scrambling back to the drawing board full of anger and venom against the policies that will continue to protect our freedom and liberty.

What the huck, Mike?

11 01 2008

I like Mike Huckabee, he’s not a bad guy. I don’t want him to ever be our president. I think he has the ability to lead and the ability to do what is right but I don’t think he has the ability to tactfully follow through with the voice of the people. He has said some pretty kooky things during the campaign and he just keeps trumping himself with something more inflammatory and border-line nutty.

Remember when he asked a reporter if Mormons believe that Satan and Jesus are brothers? It was spun as him just asking a harmless question, not knowing much about the LDS religion. The thing is, he was a Baptist preacher and we Mormons know that the Baptists believe we’re all going to hell because we have a different understanding of Christ and the Godhead than they do. When talking to a Baptist it’s essentially “I’m right and you’re wrong so you’re going to hell”. The Huckster’s innocent question was a jab at Mormonism and he knows it. But it’s all fair, I don’t take offense. I just see what he was doing and it kind of cracked me up how he played it off as “Huh? I didn’t know, I was just asking”.

So last week he made the following comment:

“One of the great challenges facing us is that we do not commit the same
mistakes with our growing Hispanic population that we did with African
Americans 150 years ago and beyond. We’re still paying the price for the
pathetic manner in which this country handled that… I think, frankly, the
Lord is giving us a second chance to do better than we did before.”

According to the Huckster, God is giving us a second chance to make up for the horrors of slavery? How does he put these things together in his mind let alone allow them to come flying out of his pie hole into the world wide media? First of all, the slaves were kidnapped, beaten, forced into slavery and treated like wild beasts. The illegals immigrating from Mexico are coming here of their own free will, finding jobs, living freely, are given countless benefits that the slaves would never have dreamed of receiving.

What’s next? Will he draw parallels between the attacks of 9/11 and mad cow disease, or global warming and the price of gold? What a goofy bastard.

But that’s not all. Look what he said last night in the Republican debate when asked about the Iranian fast boats approaching US Navy vessels and his opinion on how the matter was handled.

“Be prepared, first, to put your sights on the American vessel. And then be prepared that the next thing you see will be the gates of Hell, because that is exactly what you will see after that.”

Now, the truth is that I wish more presidents would speak in these terms when it comes to standing up to our aggressors, but they need to be the president, not some candidate. Good ol’ Huckabee is showing himself to be an off-the-cuff wierdo. What kind of diplomatic progress would a guy like this be able to make if in the debates he has already told Iran that “if you piss me off I’m sending you to hell”?

In a way I do like it but that’s not the right way to get into office, telling someone they’ll be shown the gates of hell. Especially a bunch of Muslim fanatics who think that if they blow themselves up that their next move is to bone down on 72 virgins. The Huckster might be a good advisor, VP or cabinet member but I hope to God he never gets the Republican nod.

Please, all you evangelicals who support the Huckster, take a good look and remember that this wingnut has his eye on the destruction of the wicked and the rapture. That’s no way to function in the DC political environment and no way to manage the office of President. Those things are up to God, not Mike Huckabee. This is my opinion of Mike Huckabee. I believe his Baptist preacher roots are too deep to remove him from the spectacle of hell fire and brimstone to be the diplomat he needs to be. Huckabee is kooky! Mommy, hold me!

The Israeli occupation?

10 01 2008

This week George Bush said, “There should be an end to the occupation that began in 1967. The agreement must establish a Palestine as a homeland for the Palestinian people just as Israel is a homeland for the Jewish people.”

First of all, there is no “Palestinian people”. If anything, the Palestinian people are made up of Arabs and Jews together. The Palestinian people are those people who occupy the Palestinian territories. They are not a race and they are not a nation.

After all of the Jewish concessions to the Arabs over the last couple of hundred years, not to mention the last couple of thousand years, I don’t understand how any educated person can call the Jewish existence in Palestine an occupation. The bottom line is that the Arabs will never be happy until the Jews are eradicated from Palestine. The Jews want nothing more than to live free in their homeland. Yes, Palestine is the Jewish homeland and always has been.

Take a look at historical maps and see how the Jewish state has dwindled into what it is today. Jewish concessions and cooperation has given the Arab Palestinians more and more of what they ask for. What more do they want? We know what they want but for some reason the leaders of the world are unable to admit it and are continuing to try to solve the problem by giving away more and more of the Jewish homeland.

Not only did the Jews bring Israel back to life, which brought the Arab Palestinians into the area, but they are leaving and surrendering their lands at the behest of world leaders under the veil of “peace”. This is not peace, this is occupation by the Arabs.

Black is white and white is black in this ridiculous conflict. George Bush is fighting a war on terror. He absolutely understands what it is the blood thirsty and barbaric Arab Palestinians want. It is the destruction of Israel, the Jews and the west. He is complicit in feeding their blood lust while working to fight it on other fronts. Shame on President Bush for supporting the terrorism of the PLO and continuing to give in to their demands for destruction and occupation.

Give the Jews their homeland. The Arabs have more than 90% of the land in the area and they want the Jews to give up the slivers they have established in their quest for some sort of sovereignty. The right thing to do here would be to protect Israel and tell the Palestinian Arabs to take it or leave it, then prepare for war.

Nobody wants war but there will be war until the Jews are extinguished from Arab lands. The Jews deserve to exist. They are a peaceful people who welcome peaceful coexistence with other nations. The Arabs are the problem. The Arabs are the occupiers. Shame on George Bush for supporting them.
