Sources

During all the controversy I’ve created among my circle of friends and family with my thoughts and opinions I’ve come to find that they want sources for my insights.  I have failed to provide the sources of my research, therefore I am being accused of lying and making things up.

In the future I will start to cite my sources but for now I’ll say that all of what I have gathered has come from the study of a combination of sources.  Many of which will go against the  grain of many peoples comfort but these are my conclusions based on research of the best books I have found in life.  And one of the things I was taught as a child was to find truth from the best books, and I have held on to that as a standard of guidance for my life, to answer the questions I come up against throughout my trials and they have served me well as I now have inner peace and calm and I am in balance with what I believe is divine nature, God.

People in my life accuse me of many things but I have come to this by work, research, experience, living life, making mistakes, making choices, exercising reason and applying these things to my daily life.  These are all the things the people in my life who are accusing me of wrong doing are telling me to do, and I do them, and these are the results.  So why are they pointing fingers at me?  I think the confusion is with them, not with me.  I am fine and I am free.

My primary sources are the cannon of scripture from the LDS church.  The King James version of the bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price, along with many translations of ancient Egyptian writings from the times of the pharaohs.  I also follow after the philosophies of the ancient Roman philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero, coupled with the reason and integrity of our founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, John Adams and George Washington.

Recently I have been privileged to have been enlightened by the teachings of Dr. Bruce Lipton, a microbiologist who has done stem cell research  since 1967 and who has pioneered the new bio-science of epigenetics.

Stop throwing rocks!

I’m just a dumb American sitting in my dumb lazy chair clicking through the TV channels and judging the rest of the world’s affairs, raising my blood pressure, working on a heart attack and doing my best to trigger the cancer my genes are supposed to kill me with, stuffing myself with GMO food, helping to evolve my progeny into the destruction of this lovely mother planet of ours. What do I know, right? I’m the problem! I’m the Zionist fool who justifies the rightful owners of this world to rise up in rebellion against our progress and fanciful dreams of comfort and lavish living!

Nonsense I say! And George Soros, you need to shut the hell up. Open society, schmopen schmesiety!

I couldn’t NOT say something here about what’s going on in Egypt after reading Soros’s column in the Washington Post, blaming Israel again for the unrest in the Middle East. That’s like saying the uprising in the inner cities of America in the seventies and eighties was a result of white authoritarian government policy designing and pumping crack cocaine into the fabric to keep them in their place in hopes that some genocidal civll war within that community would rid us of the issue altogether. Yeah, people actually believe that stuff!

Regardless of all the atrocities perpetuated by either side of the Israel/Palestine conflict, the reality here is that Muslim or Islamist ideology, the factions, the movements of ideology against Zionism and toward Muslim rule have got to be put in check. There is no place for it in this world.

Whether you agree with Zionism or think it’s a bunch of kooky mythology or whatever you believe Zionism means, don’t listen to the Muslim Brotherhood, and certainly don’t listen to the Islamist radicals and what they would tell you it means. They have a convoluted perception of EVERYTHING that goes on in this world. It astounds me that anyone would give sympathy to their cause (there is a difference between empathy and sympathy). When people sympathize with them, it feeds them to rise up and destroy what peace is already hanging by a thread. They are nothing more than a powder keg of malcontentious hatemongers looking for a reason to destroy any peaceful progress this world makes. They lack the ability to progress or prosper; to grow, to mend, to heal, to love, to nurture. All they know is destruction, anger, war, hatred and conflict. They want nothing more than to dominate those around them. They want to dominate women, children, any free thinking or creative energy that is produced anywhere; they create reasons to oppose it. And they don’t speak in reason, they speak in rhetoric. Their leaders will not answer questions, they will not address issues, they will only point fingers, spotlight anything they can find to be a seed of conflict and make it their cause.

And the worst part about this is that bleeding hearts around the world, as well intentioned as they are, fall for this rhetoric as easily as a moth flies into the flame of a candle and is burned to a crisp. Why? Because the foundation the bleeding hearts of this world have supported themselves on has always been from the causes of victims. And who are the biggest victims in this world? The people who cry the loudest. They blame everything that is happening around them and take no responsibility for what is happening within them. Because we are all responsible for what we create and it is up to us to take control and make things right if we stand in opposition of our environment.  That’s what living is all about! Fighting battles out of anger and revenge are not solutions. Fighting battles to stop a greater destruction than the one you are creating by getting into battle can be justified. But these malcontents don’t look for solutions, they look to destroy and create havoc around them because they know nothing else. They create their world of what they know, of what they believe, of what they feel. It is their reality and they believe it so strongly and their influence is felt by all bleeding hearts who, while they are well meaning, are founded on false principles.

There are many cliches and parables to describe what I mean. When you have nothing to stand for, you’ll fall for anything. If you don’t have a solid balance of spirit, mind and body then when things get dicey the lowest common denominator is conflict, and that’s where it ends up most times with groups who are on shaky foundation built on disagreement, victimism and rhetoric.

A man who builds his house on a foundation of sand, when the storms and tempests come, he loses his house, and all that he has built up, because the foundation never was solid. The sand is false principles. While well meaning and attractive in appearance, it supports structures while there is no opposition eroding it and it seem to do a fine job supporting everything built on top. But when real issues arise, that foundation cannot support against the eroding waves, stormy weather and earthquakes that concrete, rebar and steel can withstand.

Do I need to continue? This is just peeling back a small corner of the patch that covers the truth of what is happening in this world. You can ‘yeah, but’ all you want. I’m right. If you don’t like it I welcome your retort. That’s what makes America great. We can debate without it eroding into a fight. That’s what progress and education does for a society. Open minds can grow and breathe. Change can happen when people embrace knowledge and understanding instead of standing on false principles that result in discomfort, strife and do nothing more than support you in feeling angry and opposed to something.  But if you do want to debate, please don’t make me repeat myself.  I’ve said a lot in here.  If I have to repeat myself to argue with you then you’re not paying attention.

Stand for what you believe in, nurture it and spread that truth to make the world a better place. If it leads you to argument and conflict with others then you’ve found yourself at a dead end and you need to back up and find out where you got off course.

My religion is showing!

Alright, every once in a while the virtual soap box upon which I stand on the information superhighway becomes a platform for religious discussion. All my life I’ve been a pretty consistent rule breaker and I’m breaking the politic/religion rule here. I’m not trying to start a war or convert anyone, it’s just that there are some things that are so intimately woven into the fabric of my being that I have to express them, and that’s what this blog is all about.

Everyone knows by now that I’m one of those kooky Mormons. I’ve been growing my hair long to hide my horns and I have sixteen of my wives living secretly in a bunker west of the Great Salt Lake.

And most people know that we Mormons have this extra bit of scripture we call the Book of Mormon. I’ve mentioned it in other blog posts because a lot of what I think about corresponds to its teachings and it has helped shape my philosophy throughout my life. It’s a good book!

But there are some things about its coming forth that are somewhat extraordinary. They don’t prove its authenticity but they are things not to be merely dismissed and taken lightly if one is prone to argue against the truthfulness of the book.

Just to give a very brief synopsis of what the Book of Mormon is: It’s a record of a people who came from Jerusalem during the reign of King Zedekiah around 600 BC. They built a boat and crossed the waters, brought with them records of the ancient prophets, i.e. Jeremiah, Isaiah, Moses, Zenock, Zenos (guess they liked the Z names); some in the Bible and some not but for the most part they had the law of Moses and the writings of the old testament prophets.

This people kept records on plates made of brass and gold and hid them up with prayers to God and a promise from Him to them that the record would come forth in the latter days by simple and small means to bring to pass the work of righteousness for the salvation of their ancestry and the family of men. Joseph Smith, Jr. was the vessel directed by God’s hand to bring this record to light in these, the last days.

Here is a list of many factoids concerning the Book of Mormon and its translator, Joseph Smith, Jr.

1. He was between 23 and 24 years of age
2. He had only three years of formal schooling
3. The book contains 239 chapters; 54 of them about wars, 21 about history, 55 about prophecy, 71 about doctrines, 17 about missionaries, and 21 about the mission of Christ
4. The book contains the history of two separate nations, along with histories of different contemporary nations and groups of people
5. It describes in detail the religious, economic, social and political cultures and institutions of these two nations.
6. The book covers a period over 1000 years of history and was written in approximately 80 days
7. Since it was finished there have been no major contextual changes, only grammatical corrections
8. There is a challenge to the reader at the end of the book concerning its authenticity and truth: “And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask of God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, He will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost”
9. Millions of people have testified that they know the book to be true and correct because they put the challenge to the test
10. Many great men, intellectual giants and scholars have subscribed discipleship to the record and its movement even to giving their very lives
11. The descriptions of the cultures in the civilizations spoken of in the book were not known when it was published but have since been discovered to exist exactly as described
12. There are no contradictions within the book or with the words of the Holy Bible
13. Many of the facts, ideas, and statements given in the record were in direct opposition with the prevailing beliefs of the world at the time it was published
14. The translator invited the ablest scholars and experts to examine the text with care. He made great efforts to see that the book got into the hands of all those most eager to prove it a forgery
15. Thorough investigation, scientific evidence and archaeological discoveries for the next 180 years have verified the claims and proven many of the details in the book
16. After 180 years of extensive analysis, not one claim or fact in the book has been disproved
17. The translator, Joseph Smith, Jr., after suffering persecutions and revilement for 20 years after finishing the translation died as a martyr at the hands of evil men for his testimony that it is a true record given to us from God

We’re getting closer…

That BIG event is upon us, it’s just around the corner.  Whatever you want to call it.  I call it the Second Coming, we’re in the tribulation part from what I can tell.  Most people agree that something is going down.  For convenience a lot of people are looking to the end of the Mayan calendar, something tangible they can look forward to.  But when their set date comes and goes I wonder what the speculation will turn into. Whatever it is, the signs are here and there ain’t no denying all the turmoil this world is going through.

The latest is all the bird and fish deaths.  It’s crazy, random, out of the blue, fish washing up on the shores and birds literally dropping from the sky by the thousands.  Scientists are going to put a cause on and and it will be explained, but that certainly doesn’t take away from the fact that these weird things are precursors to coming Apocalyptic events.

Buckle up everyone.  I hope you have been preparing, it’s going to get bumpy for a while, and it’s going to be a learning experience for every person alive.

Here’s what has been recorded around the world in the last two weeks.

• 8,000 turtle doves fall dead in Italy with strange blue stain on their beaks
• 450 red-winged blackbirds, brown-headed cowbirds, grackles and starlings found littering a highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
• 3,000 blackbirds on roofs and roads in the small town of Beebe, Arkansas
• Thousands of ‘devil crabs’ washed up along the Kent coast near Thanet
• Thousands of drum fish washed along a 20-mile stretch of the Arkansas River
• Two million small fish in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland
• Thousands of dead fish found floating in warm Florida creek
• Hundreds of snapper fish found dead in New Zealand
• Scores of American Coots found dead on Texas highway bridge

Don’t kick the armed robber!

I was looking at drudgereport.com today and I saw the headline. It read:

POLICE FIRESTORM: ‘BEAT THE F****** MEXICAN OUT OF YOU, HOMEY’

That sounds pretty bad.

But I read the story and found out that the ‘victim’ here was a recently abducted armed robber.  He just stuck up a bowling alley or something and they took him down.

So the cops are kicking him and giving him sh*t, which I think any dumbass armed robber deserves. But the headline is all about what they were saying when they were kicking him. The story isn’t that they were kicking him, but what they were saying.

All I want to say is, what about the crime that led up to this?

Comments on my comments – The whole AC/end-of-the-world thing continued…

In response to my post about Obama being the Anti-Christ, I received a comment, posted below, from Doughlasjk Stambler, in the which he called me a racist.  Well, maybe he didn’t call me an outright rasicst, but he said my comments were not ‘Christian-like’ and that they were ‘racially motivated’.

I have posted those comments and my comments to them below, and have also included comments from another reader of my blog.  All of these can be found on my ‘about‘ page.  They were posted there originally for some reason, so I brought them here since they’re interesting food for thought.  They may be silly and sensational, but they’re thought provoking and entertaining nevertheless.

There is one last thing I’d like to add to this post.  It’s a comment to a post made at a blog about the possibility of Obama being the Anti-Christ.  It was referenced yesterday on time.com and cnn.com and there have been a lot of comments and traffic driven there since.  One person had some very interesting things to say and I wanted to add them here as well.

I was brought up in Chirstian faith and know the book of Revelation and the varied interpretations of it concerning the Antichrist, though I have been an agnostic for many years. Indeed I did some intense research about the subject a few years ago when I was planning to write a sf short story, though I never thought the Antichrist could be real. I had problems to conclusively invent a person, beloved by all the different denominations on earth.

Obama fits everything.

When all this suddenly came to my mind some night I was really bewilderd and scared. When I heard and saw Obama on TV there was a feeling in my mind: “He reminds me of somebody, but I do not know of whom”. One night I woke up scared and knew: He has reminded me of the Antichrist.

Today I am no more sure whether the Antichrist exists or not. So I did Google search and found your blog, completely shocked that this idea (which I still considered my own craziness) ist shared by so many people.

To those who suggest, Bush being more evil and killing Iraqi children and the like … it is not (in the beginning!) about being evil but about being universally beloved, it is about a political leader who acts and is accepted like a cult leader or even a god. Bush (and other politicians) of course do have their voters and supporters, but they aren’t comparable to religious believers and either they are despised outside their own country or just not of any interest. All of this is different with Obama.

Additionally “Rome” is not mentioned in the Bible, people only thought it should be Rome because of the seven hills. But Honolulu is a city built on seven hills too. And it is in the middle of the Sea.

Obama fits everything so perfectly that I am absolutely sure it is not coincidence. Either he is the Antichrist or he performs to be the Antichrist for some reason.

Have you ever considered the second possibility?

He knows people think he is the Antichrist and he does not do anything to refute this notion, i.e. urging his followers not to hail him like a god. And McCain knows as well and jumps on the game as is proven by this ad. Maybe there is a web of deceit much larger than we can think.

A little clarification on this whole Anti-Christ deal

Alright, it’s getting pretty nutty with all the cross linking and political mumbo-jimbo going on and all the finger pointing and Obama being accused of being ‘The One’ or the ‘Anti-Christ’.  Even I said he’s the Anti-Christ spoken of in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, but that doesn’t mean I’m right.

The truth is, as far as what I can gather and understand, is that it looks like the AC seen in vision by these prophets, represented figuratively by the beast/dragon characters with the seven heads, ten horns, the wounded head that was healed, rising up from the sea, etc., is probably not so much an individual political figure so much as maybe the primary political world leader of the time, or a political ideology or the primary group of political strategists in the last days who make war and lead the world into so much calamity.

This makes a lot more sense to me.  But what do I know?  I’m just a guy watching the world news and reading the bible, trying to put this puzzle together because I have Internet access and a curious mind.  I could be wrong.  The one thing I am sure of though, what is coming is coming, and no matter what the AC, the beast, the 666 or any of that literally means, it is all here in some form or another and we are all watching it unfold and partaking in it.

These are exciting times, and being prepared for ourselves, knowing who we are, being right with God and our families and being watchful of these events is the only way we will be able to be safe from them.

I was accused by a reader of being a racist because I called Obama the AC.  That’s just silly.  That’s why he will probably win the presidency, because of that sort of attitude.  Just because he is an obvious target, the race card is being played all over the place and it’s going to be a great distraction.  Obama is slick, much slicker than the Clintons ever dreamed of being.  He has the best slight of hand act in political history.  He can get you watching his right hand while his left hand is left unwatched to do anything he pleases.  He distracts us with promises of change, promises of unity, he plays the race card, he says he’s not like those who have come before him, he says he will bring long needed peace to the nations around the world of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, peace between Israel and Palestine, he uses all sorts of rhetoric to distract us while he is working his bag of tricks with his other hand.

Pay attention to this guy, he is one slick mofo.  McCain isn’t exactly the greatest second choice but at least McCain isn’t hell bent on selling out American sovereignty for political glory under the guise of being some kind of world Messiah, healing nations, building bridges and tearing down walls.

The American melting pot is spilling over into all of the nations of the world and Obama is mixing it all up together, trying to make peace and sense out of the chaos.  He actually believes he can accomplish this.  Mankind can not live this way, it will not work out for Obama, and that’s why I see this playing out as the bible has foretold.  The parallels are too great to be ignored.

Watch and learn, be prepared.  But above all, be happy, keep doing the good work.  Make your neighbors happy, try to cheer up those around you, lend a helping hand wherever you get the chance.  Just because people like me and nut-job conspiracy theorists obsess over these hypothetical, end-times scenarios doesn’t mean we have given up hope and are standing idly by, waiting for the Savior to swoop down and carry us home.  Those are the kool-aid drinkers, the comet chasers and the loons of the world who go off together claiming to know the day or the hour of the coming of the Lord.

This nothing more than like getting caught up in the Rubic’s Cube craze, or losing yourself in Soduku.  It’s just something I find interesting, it doesn’t mean I’m a complete nut-job fanatic who is going to run out and stock up on ammunition and hide away in a bunker.  I know life goes on, I have to work, I have to raise my family and there are still a lot of things I want to accomplish before all this insanity plays out in reality.

So, just to summaraize, I’m not nuts, I’m not going to go all survivalist, I have no idea what Anti-Christ even literally means, but I do think Obama is a megalomaniac who will do far more harm than good, and he’s a pretty good charachter to look to if you want some Apocolyptic type drama to follow in your spare time.

Barack Obama and his budding Messiah complex

Barack Obama is being set up as the savior of the world.  It was kind of a joke, and is being played out in jest by the GOP but Obama and people around the world are embracing this as a sort of calling, a leader who will heal the wounded nations, bring us together and unite the world for peace.

If anyone has studied, really studied the prophesies in the book of Daniel, Isaiah and Revelation it would be much clearer and probably a little more real than some joke being portrayed by conspiracy theorists and GOP extremists.

Barack Obama is taking upon  himself a Messianic role.  Right now I’m sure he believes he has some great answers and solutions to the world’s problems, and there are a lot of people who are in support of his vision.  But he will become drunk with this vision of being the Savior of the world.

Israel will attack Iran and Obama will support Israel in stopping nuclear proliferation, thereby securing Israel as a soverign nation and solidifying its status in the eyes of the world and thereby thwarting the Palestinians’ desire for the destruction of Israel.  Israel will call him the Messiah, literally.  They will believe he is the one who has come to save them.

[edit] This is supposition based on what I saw at the time it happened.  But now I see I was wrong.  Embarrassment and apology are two things most people steer away from.  But I’ll take it when it’s needed.

But then the political framework he has worked to build and that perceived peace he has achieved will begin to crumble, and Barack Obama will be forced once again to take sides.  This time he will side with the Palestinians, who will have valid arguments against Israel that Obama and other world leaders will support, and they will begin to fight against Israel, fulfilling the prophesy that the anti-christ will be seen as a  Messiah to Israel, and after 42 months will turn against them with the nations of the world to destroy them.

This will bring the battle of Armaggedon and usher in the Second Coming of the Savior, who will be the only one that can stop the destruction and mayhem being poured out up on mankind.

I have seen this coming for years.  Call me crazy, but watch it unfold before your eyes.

I’m also open to the possiblity that I could be entirely wrong.  Fortunately my future and salvation doesn’t depend on whether or not I’m right about this stuff.  I just need to be prepared every day in case it does happen, and I believe, as the scriptures tell us, that it will happen.
