Barack Obama and his budding Messiah complex

8 08 2008

Barack Obama is being set up as the savior of the world.  It was kind of a joke, and is being played out in jest by the GOP but Obama and people around the world are embracing this as a sort of calling, a leader who will heal the wounded nations, bring us together and unite the world for peace.

If anyone has studied, really studied the prophesies in the book of Daniel, Isaiah and Revelation it would be much clearer and probably a little more real than some joke being portrayed by conspiracy theorists and GOP extremists.

Barack Obama is taking upon  himself a Messianic role.  Right now I’m sure he believes he has some great answers and solutions to the world’s problems, and there are a lot of people who are in support of his vision.  But he will become drunk with this vision of being the Savior of the world.

Israel will attack Iran and Obama will support Israel in stopping nuclear proliferation, thereby securing Israel as a soverign nation and solidifying its status in the eyes of the world and thereby thwarting the Palestinians’ desire for the destruction of Israel.  Israel will call him the Messiah, literally.  They will believe he is the one who has come to save them.

But then the political framework he has worked to build and that perceived peace he has achieved will begin to crumble, and Barack Obama will be forced once again to take sides.  This time he will side with the Palestinians, who will have valid arguments against Israel that Obama and other world leaders will support, and they will begin to fight against Israel, fulfilling the prophesy that the anti-christ will be seen as a  Messiah to Israel, and after 42 months will turn against them with the nations of the world to destroy them.

This will bring the battle of Armaggedon and usher in the Second Coming of the Savior, who will be the only one that can stop the destruction and mayhem being poured out up on mankind.

I have seen this coming for years.  Call me crazy, but watch it unfold before your eyes.

I’m also open to the possiblity that I could be entirely wrong.  Fortunately my future and salvation doesn’t depend on whether or not I’m right about this stuff.  I just need to be prepared every day in case it does happen, and I believe, as the scriptures tell us, that it will happen.

Talk is cheap – The politics of appeasement

15 05 2008

President Bush finally said something I am proud of. It seems that in his past eight years of public speaking he has done little more than build a legacy of providing material to late night talk show hosts. Well, this week he finally spoke as a true leader of nations to the Knesset concerning the appeasement of terrorists.

“Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: ‘Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.’ We have an obligation to call this what it is –- the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”

This really pissed off Senator Barry O’ and the democrats, who are the absolute pinnacles of talky talk, appeasement and symbolism over substance.

“It is sad that President Bush would use a speech to the Knesset on the 6Oth anniversary of Israel’s independence to launch a false political attack. It is time to turn the page on eight years of policies that have strengthened Iran and failed to secure America or our ally Israel. Instead of tough talk and no action, we need to do what Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan did and use all elements of American power — including tough, principled, and direct diplomacy – to pressure countries like Iran and Syria. George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists, and the President’s extraordinary politicization of foreign policy and the politics of fear do nothing to secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel.”

It really saddens me that the man who expects to be President can actually believe that fighting the greatest threat to America’s liberty has strengthened Iran and failed to secure America and Israel. The democrats are so blinded by their lust for power that they will twist the obvious truth and play partisan politics to the point where they deny that fighting terrorism is the only way to stop it.

Did Jimmy Carter’s peace efforts in the middle east do anything to stop Arafat? No, it did not. Did Bill Clinton’s finger wagging do anything to stop the escalation of terrorism against the USA around the world and within our own borders? No, it did not.  In fact, it emboldened the terrorists and brought us 9/11.

Did President Reagan’s ass whupping on Kadafi do anything to stop him? Hell yes it did. Did Reagan’s perceived development of the Star Wars initiative do anything to topple communism and the Soviet regime? Hell yes it did. Has George Bush’s proactive offenses on terrorist nations and regimes done anything to protect us within the borders of the United States and our embassies across the world? Hell yes it has.

History will tell the truth and the democrat party will fail once again this election year, then they will be sent scrambling back to the drawing board full of anger and venom against the policies that will continue to protect our freedom and liberty.

The sandbox is over crowded…

…and Hillary got some in her snatch. Yeah, it’s disgusting but I said it. Hillary is losing big time and she doesn’t know how to handle it. Now she’s pointing fingers, telling Obama he’s no MLK while her introductor, Francine Torge, reminded us that JKF was assasinated and LBJ was the one who actually signed the civil rights act.

The claim is that Torge was referring to Obama, and because there are fears of a black president being assassinated those comments were completely out of line. The Hillary camp publicly disapproved of the comment but I have a feeling they knew what was coming. I wouldn’t put it past her to throw something like that into the discussion via a scapegoat.

I have a dream too. My dream is that the democrats shut the hell up, go back home and come up with some sort of strategy that will actually help our country. You know, something along the lines of a foreign policy plan, border security, an admission that there is a real terror threat and that Islam IS the enemy…stuff like that.

The media is focusing so closely on the Democrat race and playing it up to be so critical but in the big picture I don’t see any one of those candidates having a snowball’s chance in a real presidential race. I don’t expect a Reganesque 49 state landslide in the general election but you have got to be kidding me if anyone believes this United States of America would vote in Hillary Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama or John Edwards as president.

I made a prediction about a year ago that our next president would be Mitt Romney and I haven’t seen anything that has made me change my mind. I think most of the Republican candidates would be great presidents except for Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul (Ron Paul is a extreme right wing kook and Huckabee seems like a passive-aggressive cool aid drinker). That leaves us with McCain, Giuliani and Romney. If Fred Thompson were a little more inspiring than a thorazine induced drool-off he might have a chance but he’s too far behind to make an impact.

Fasten your seat belts, the ride is going to get bumpy!
